Residential Child Care Worker:
Summary: Participate as a member of a treatment team in Walker’s residential program to meet the social, recreational, behavioral, and educational needs of children exhibiting emotional and behavioral difficulties. Plan, implement, and participate in social and recreational activities for children. Provide a safe and therapeutic milieu that meets the physical and emotional needs of children. Implement treatment protocols established by a multi-disciplinary team. Attend to the administrative functions of child care, including attending treatment meetings, writing reports, and actively participating in supervision and professional development opportunities offered at Walker.
Positions available at a variety of professional levels; Flexible shifts are available, including awake overnight positions.

Assistant Teacher I:
Summary: To team teach with a Head teacher in a self-contained classroom of eight to 11 children with emotional, learning, and behavioral disabilities; to provide educational services as directed by the Head teacher and the educational leadership team. This is a 12-month position that includes some holidays and school vacations. Must be committed to child centered, family focused culturally competent care and strength based treatment.
Requirements: Bachelors Degree, Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education preferred. Valid Massachusetts drivers license and previous experience working with children in an education setting. Summary: Senior administrative officer responsible for business and financial control of operations of Walker School as a whole; with the Senior Leadership Team responsible for providing support and consultation services to all Walker programs and subsidiaries. Requirements: Degree in accounting, financial management or business administration. Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in progressively responsible senior financial administration. Strong verbal, written and presentation skills; ability to think and plan systemically; strong financial analytic ability; ability to manage multiple tasks; ability to collaborate and facilitate team decision making; ability to meeting deadlines and work under pressure; strong computer/financial software skills. Special Education Teacher:
Summary: Teach in a self-contained classroom of 8 to 11 children with emotional, learning, and behavioral disabilities. Develop and coordinate the academic, behavioral, and social curriculum in the classroom with the support of Educational Leadership Team. Supervise the assistant teachers of the classroom and lead the classroom team (two assistant teachers) in the overall functioning of the classroom. Write IEPs and reports, and present at student-focused meetings with the support of the classroom supervisor. Collaborate with multi-discplinary teams(clinicians, supervisors, specialists, residential team members) around programming for students. Must committed to child centered, family focused culturally competent care and strength based treatment.

Residential Milieu Supervisor :
Summary: Responsible for all aspects of the weekday residential milieu including, but not limited to, coordination of staffing patterns, crisis intervention, off campus activities, transportation needs, communication with both school, clinical department and administrator on-call. Work collaboratively with House Supervisors to provide consultation, support and training to direct care staff. Job requires constant communication with both the Staffing Coordinator and the After-School/Activities Supervisor. This individual will be responsible for decision making in crisis situations, constant multi-tasking and must have the ability to utilize behavior management and crisis intervention techniques as needed. Responsible for the oversight of all relief staff.

Summary: Responsible for management of all aspects of the residential club program and after-school program including, but not limited to, design and implementation of activity programming, coordination of health/music curriculum, direct supervision of after-school staff, coordination with scheduling coordinator and milieu supervisor regarding staffing needs This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing activity curriculum for the therapeutic residential milieu and providing training and consultation to direct care staff. Responsible for all aspects of respite programming including, but not limited to, oversight of recreational programming, design of protocols/policies, supervision of staff, and communication with respite coordinator. Provide evening support to milieu supervisor. Utilize behavior management and crisis intervention as needed.
