Welcome to Walker! Our school is ready to provide your K-through-8th-grade student with a strength-based and individualized, year-round program that can meet his or her academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.

At Walker School, children discover their own special abilities and talents, and learn strategies to cope more effectively with their challenges! Parents receive support and access to the services they require to parent a child with unique needs.

Our state-of-the-art academic curriculum is integrated with an array of specialized supports, enriching special events, and extracurriclular activities that include an annual science fair, a multicultural festival, a spelling bee, a chess tournament, intramural basketball and track, a field day, and a wide range of community field trips.

For children and families who need more support, we offer a range of extended-day, respite, residential, and clinical services that comprise a broad, integrated network of care.
